Edinburgh Outdoors podcast
Regular clients know our passion for Pilrig Park workouts, and recently we got to share our enthusiasm on the Edinburgh Outdoors podcast. Have a listen and hear more about our approach to outdoor exercise in a greenspace.
Podcaster Angela and I spent an hour wandering around Pilrig Park in January. It was cold and clear and bright, a perfect park exercise day. We finished the interview supping on Pure Leith mint tea at my allotment.
It was a pleasure chatting with Angela from Edinburgh Outdoors, here’s more about her podcast in her own words:
“I launched Edinburgh Outdoors podcast after a career change as it offered me the chance to work outdoors and discover even more about my home city. I aim to support and highlight the people who are making the outdoors accessible and exciting for everyone. The podcast explores Edinburgh’s green spaces and the people in them, highlighting the opportunities to get outside and discover more about our city and possibly ourselves. It is aimed at people who want to get a bit more of the outdoors into their lives or just discover more about Edinburgh and those who are doing brilliant things outside. The podcast is recorded in a relaxed, conversational style and always outside, even when it’s really cold! While it is focused on the outdoors, it is also very much about people and sometimes I am amazed at the surprising things people tell me while we are out walking, so it’s not a travelogue – it’s very much about our area of Scotland and particularly about its people. “
